Frugal-guy

Normal guy learning the ropes about money and sharing them with everyone. As long as what I say helps one person, it is worth the time. I learned about money the hard way. By losing it. That will not happen again. I hope this helps you. Browse my archive for more useful info. FPU recap on lesson 1

I just have to say I was really glad I decided to coordinate this class.  It was a great feeling seeing everyone get the “OH! I get it!” look in their faces when the discussion of saving was the topic.    I look forward to seeing their progress the following 12 weeks.

I wonder what kinda props I should prepare for lesson 2?

I have some idea but if you want to propose anything I would love to hear it.

Progress of lesson one. First steps.

I had one class member empty their wallet of credit cards and charge cards.   We cut them up right then and there.  That is one of the steps admitting that it is a rip off the credit cards we all deal with whether it is you or a family member. Credit affects us all.  Never in a good way mind you.

Also I had many questions asked and I was happy to answer them as clearly as I could.

Is the mortgage included in your debts?

Debt collectors.

Giving who do we give to?

and so on and so on.

I consider the first class a success… . .

So, any suggestions for props on lesson two for those of you who have experienced it I would greatly appreciate it. I have 3 days to plan.

Take care,

Richard
